Merchant Industrial Gases are almost always produced in a centralised large and complex plants and then transported to the end users either in compressed or cryogenically liquified form. They are used in a wide range of industries which are either located in Industrial areas or in cities and agglomerations. In both its forms compressed or cryogenic, these gases pose a grave danger if they leak, overflow or suffer any other damage. Considering this, Transportation Safety is the main driver of economics and sustenance of Industrial gases business.
GIA has been at the forefront of Transport Safety advancement since many years. This year's seminar is again designed to give a wholistic picture of Transportation Safety. Looking at the advancements in ESG gases a special focus is given to Hazardous, Speciality and Electronic gases transports. We have also tried to bring in the human factor in driving and transportation safety taking help from external domain experts.
Since a session on Transport safety will be incomplete if we do not consider the practical aspects, we have designed a special session to interact with the drivers who are transporting these gases day in and day out across India. They will bring in a lot of value by their experience of handling supply chain systems in very challenging circumstances and will provide us a subjects for future developments.
Who shall attend the seminar:
Transportation being a central theme of all businesses we invite all manufacturers, transporters, dealers and suppliers, OEM's and customers. Our seminar is relevant not only to Industrial gas sector but it is also very relevant to other industrial segments like Oil and Gas, hazardous chemicals, and other bulk and cargo movers.
We also intend to invite senior officials from Road transportation departments, PESO, IPC, DPIIT and large healthcare institutions to deliberate the regulatory framework, harmonised specifications and policy making.
Our seminar also holds lots of value and interesting subjects for NGOs, Public think tanks, Startups and entrepreneurs looking for new opportunities and also common citizens who would like to learn and be part of the supply chain.
